In October 1995, leading hair & make-up artist John Kattenberg founded House of Orange; representing an elite group of 8 outstanding talents in hair, make up, fashion and interior styling.

Today House of Orange serves the international fashion industry, from high end to cutting edge, with it’s top talent league of 45 stylists, hair and makup artists and 14 photographers, a renowned international model agency, and an ambitious production team for projects running from catwalk shows to campaigns.

John Kattenberg’s gut-personal vision still ruling unabated, House of Orange, rather than just managing creative careers, represents a loyal family of passionately talented, highly professional yet charmingly authentic people. House of Orange earned its international reputation for setting new style-standards by successfully combining individual creative excellence with immaculate service and communication.

House of Orange - Hair, Makeup & Styling
Apart from its internationally renowned stylists and hair & makeup teams, the House of Orange styling department offers full service production and art direction for fashion shows, both front stage and backstage. Boasting many years of experience and a vast international network, everything from concept to casting and choreography is done in the same outstanding way. Management and production is in the capable and caring hands of Erik van Dillen and Joanne Schouten, who not only run the day-to-day practice with grace and style, but also guide, and often ignite, the many magic forces involved in making this unique business happen.

House of Orange Photographers
Mark Jovanovic, looking back at over ten years of hands on experience, takes the lead in managing the careers of 14 outstanding and highly divergent photographers as well as guiding his handpicked sales and production team. Operating both national and international, servicing a dazzling diversity of clients ranging form global brands to opinion leading magazines and art projects, the House of Orange Photographers floor extends its expertise in production as well as consultancy and art buying.

House of Orange Models
In 2004 John Kattenberg recruited Renate Peters Huisman to add a model agency to House of Orange. With nearly a quarter of a century of model business in her blood, Renate managed to scout and draw a high quality selection of national and international modeling professionals, both male and female, to her flock. Her trusting and caring way of coaching and planning models’ careers perfectly compliments the ‘loving excellence’ House of Orange represents.
